RFID Application for Industry 4.0

The application for industry 4.0 is the integration of software and hardware with the basic technology like intelligent sensing control system and IoT, and it ultimately creates a new intelligent industrial world with sensing consensus.

Since 2011 at Hannover Messe when the term “Industry 4.0” was addressed, it has gradually become a mainstream for enterprise. The main concept is to build an adaptive and efficient manufacturing system, and provide complete after-sale services by integrating with customers and business partners in the business process and the value stream.

MiTAC held a seminar of “RFID Application for Industry 4.0” on September, 5th. “To help manufacturing industry convert smoothly in the future era of IIoT (Industry Internet of Thing), MiTAC has completed the integration of data collection technology of front-end RFID device and backend manufacturing execution system (MES). It increases efficiency of product line & employee, decrease time cost, and improve the quality control with Traceability System.

In the trend of Industry 4.0, RFID technology provides manufacturing industry with traceability and visibility, and conducts real-time monitoring and controlling through MES system which connecting OT & IT seamlessly.

MiTAC addressed “The Six RFID Industry Application Total Solution”─MiTraceability, Mi Authorization Checking-List, Mi Warehouse, MiForklift, MiJiG, and Mi e-Rack. MiTAC’s Assistant Vice President of IoT Group, Chris Chen said at the opening speech that draw much attention from the participants. MiTAC has constantly put forth effort on RFID technology from library management, warehouse management to security control management fields.
