MiTAC wins 2019 Systems Integration Export Award

Mitac has won 2019 Systems Integration Export Award through a strict document review and presentation evaluation. It puts the spotlight on outstanding contributions made to introducing integrated systems, products and services internationally. Mitac has succeeded in establishing the Electronic Gate (E-Gate) System at four international airports including Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Clark International Airport, and Davao International Airport.

Mitac has leveraged bio-feature identification technologies such as facial recognition and finger print sensing, and integrated with Passenger Verification System with Border Security Databases (blacklists, wanted persons, suspect information, etc) to create this powerful system. Philippines president Duterte has also praised the E-Gate during the awarding of outstanding overseas Filipino individuals and organizations that “No more human contact. You just swipe your passport in two minutes, you’re out”

Systems Integration Export Award is an event co-hosted by the Smart City and IoT Industries Alliance, and the Taipei Computer Association with the support of SIPA office to encourage domestic companies to expand global markets with homegrown system integration solutions.
