MiTAC, Sharp, Cypress Sign MoU, entering Smart AV Market
MiTAC Information Technology’s subsidiary MiTAC Communication (hereinafter called “MiTAC”) entered into a distribution agreement with Sharp, an intelligent display panel manufacturer and Cypress Technology, an equipment manufacturer, officially becoming a distributor for professional audio-visual (AV) equipment and intelligent display panels. Through the expansion of product lines, MiTAC will develop towards intelligent AV solution provider for video integration, intelligent environment control, AV applications and commercial displays.
Tung-Shan Hsu , President of Cypress Technology, said at the signing meeting: “through the cooperation of 3 parties, the installation cases accumulated over the years can be shared to the distributor through MiTAC. MiTAC can also help Cypress Technology to deepen its market in Taiwan and be widely applied to different vertical markets, creating a win-win situation for both parties.
