MiTAC E-Gate leverages AI technology

MiTAC has been awarded a Taiwan Excellence Award for its ’s Automated border control system – Electronic Gate III.E-Gate III was designed with facial recognition, biometric scanning, bar code reading, and fingerprint recognition all rolled into one system. Upgraded from the last generation, E-Gate III leverages AI technology to improve recognition rate of face/anti-tailgating detection and offer Preventive maintenance with AI Analysis. Its industrial design stands out with massively used glass material which creates more space and visibility. More than that, it provides user interface with over 40 kinds of languages. E-Gate III is not merely a product of border security and a solution of passenger queuing but also a Convenient and Aesthetic experience. A total 47 E-Gates III will soon be installed at airports and coastal ports in Taiwan.
