Allis Electric Teams Up with MiTAC introducing Microsoft 365
Allis Electric is primarily engaged in the manufacture of heavy electrical machinery used by Taipower, CPC, telecommunications bureaus and public sectors. Last year, it received orders for uninterruptible power systems and power equipment from TSMC’s new plant. With the sudden pandemic outbreak, Allis Electric purchased Microsoft 365 from MiTAC to allow employees to work from home or off-site with remote synchronization and cloud access, breaking through location and distance limitations.
Founded in 1968, Allis Electric originally focused on transformers and power distribution panels. With the gradual mature development of products, the company expanded its capabilities into power monitoring and the rail industry. In recent years, not only has the company continued to develop new heavy electrical machinery, eco-friendly energy, energy-saving, and intelligent products have been added to its main R&D focus. Customers include Taipower, TSMC and the Railway Reconstruction Bureau.

Director Chan said: “after several discussions and evaluations, I eventually chose MiTAC for its positive corporate image, scale, long history and good reputation. MiTAC and I go way back as there has been a business relationship since early years: the uninterrupted power supply system of the school information office and Taiwan Railway’s rail system,” “It feels reassuring to be working with MiTAC again.” He also noted that MiTAC is highly cooperative and responds to issues quickly. Remembering, Chan said: “There was a firewall issue during the construction of the platform and although it was not in the scope of MiTAC’s responsibility, thanks to their eagerness to solve the problem, the platform was constructed without further issues.” Allis Electric (Nangang headquarters, Xinzhuang plant, Yangmei plant)
